Steph at Refreshercise is a real inspiration. Her month long challenge is fantastic, focusing on all aspects of well-being, including diet, exercise and just getting out in the open to improve mood. The programme includes 2 online pilates sessions per week, daily health tips and diet "tweaks", and overall inspiration to change bad habits into positive ones.There are even 10 minute "indoor walking" sessions aimed at those who don't fancy getting out in the rain! Steph is very responsive and an absolute "mine" of information, and she is clearly passionate about helping people change for the better. The challenge was just what was needed to "blow the cobwebs off" in January !
This programme kept me motivated, it’s not too complicated to follow. The key benefit was getting me into and a fitness and eating plan which is still effective weeks after completing the programme.
I have attended Steph's Pilates classes for many years and the quality of teaching is exceptional. I first started Pilates over 20 years ago and have had many teachers, Steph is the best mat pilates teacher I have had. Her classes are always different and the movements are a challenge but also rehabilitative. They are wonderful for desk workers. The refreshercise mini break sessions on the website are also brilliant for making sure you move throughout the day. I would highly recommend attending the pilates classes and joining refreshercise.
Our staff thoroughly enjoyed the Pilates session and felt engaged and supported throughout. They spoke very highly of the experience and truly appreciated the wellbeing benefits of taking part. Steph was flexible, understanding, and ready to adapt the session to suit the limited space available at our premises. My experience with Steph and Refreshercise has been very positive. She is highly knowledgeable on the subject of nutritional health and improving physical and mental well-being through informed food choices and appropriate exercise, while offering practical and realistic advice. I find the online Pilates sessions are pitched well to suit all abilities and appreciate being able to catch up with the recordings of any missed sessions. I've also especially enjoyed the 5-minute daily moves as part of the Move More/Eat Smart Challenge.
